Book Two: Done. Much easier to read than book One, thanks to editing. This book slowly moved away from the self absorption, self deprecation, overly done description of Alex. More of getting out of himself and his self loathing. Once he arrived at the school I was reminded of the Harry Potter saga. I believe this book is building to a big payoff, for the reader. Hmmmm. Will find out in book Three. Stay tuned.Product details

The author continues to keep the psychological twist interesting in this 2nd book in the Scarlet Memories saga. Alex continues to surprise me with his thoughts and actions.
Great book can't wait for the next book in this saga .
This young inspiring author is sure to be a writer to watch . She is very talented and her accomplishments already exceed her age.
After reading book one of the Scarlet Saga, I eagerly awaited book 2 - Echo of Whispers - to see what was in store for Alex after Elizabeth...well, no spoilers here...go read book 1 - The Hallowed Lost! In book 2, we learn more about Alex's past and his adventures, struggles, and triumphs as he moves toward his future. Again, the depth of Javin's characters, Alex, Joan, Meikyuu and all the others, draw you right into the story. You are right there whether it when Alex is fighting those that seek to harm or whether it's with Alex in his search for his humanity. It's a great read from a talented young writer, Javin Taylor, and I can't wait for the next book in the Scarlet Saga series. There is so much more to the story!
